Jona Rei is seeking to fill in a position for rhythm/lead guitar to play original live music. Potential guitar player must know how to lock-in with the group (metronome experience) and play well. You don’t have to play like Joe Satriani / Steve Vai, but you got to be better than Nick Jonas / Lil Wayne. :V Must have reliable means of transportation and suitable gear for gigging. We’re looking for an individual that will be genuine friends, who are on-time, open-minded, have the ability to take constructive criticism, and are committed to playing/practicing with us. Ages 21-32 preferred. Non-smokers and drug-free preferred (stoners are ok). Our goals are to gig various places such as breweries, music venues, festivals, weddings, out-of-city gigs, livestreams, and so on. We play for fun of course, but the expectation is to be compensated for our time. Plans for photoshoots, professional music videos, and merchandise for sale are in the future. Jona Rei is a group consisting entirely of original music intertwining pop, indie, hip-hop, rock, and even Latin elements. Jonathan “Jona Rei” is 24 years old and fronts the group as the vocalist/songwriter and plays guitar. Isaac (pictured in leather jacket) is 27 and plays bass guitar. Bennett (a Craigslist success who we met on here) holds down the drums and is 26. We currently have one studio album (2019) entitled “Simple Mind” and one official single (2020) “Orchids” out on all music streaming platforms. Find two additional singles (2022) entitled “I’m All Out” and “LOVE” on SoundCloud. We also have several DIY music videos viewable on YouTube and Instagram. The idea is to write and play good original music that both we and the audience will enjoy and have fun with.
