After world-wide isolation and endless violence, we come together to connect commUNITY and birth this new age of empathy. Find Your Joy teams up with you! After the fall of Roe v. Wade and the current violence in Iran, this is the moment to shift the tide once and for all. We get to create awareness and action steps so that everyone can feel confident in voting their voice in the upcoming elections while celebrating diverse female artists, activists and change makers! This event will focus on the upcoming elections as we educate and inspire ways of sustainable long term culture change, while celebrating diverse female and lgbtq+ creatives. This event will be fundraising for reproductive rights and I'm very excited to say that The Feminist Front will be joining us - a Gen Z and millenial feminist organization doing direct reproductive justice and voting registration work, led by people of color. 🎉 Let's celebrate democracy, sovereignty and creativity as we fundraise for our future. Conscious companies and communities will be coming together in collaboration to create impact through connection. THE EXPERIENCE The best Sunday BRUNCH of your lives! Sunday Funday takes on a whole new meaning when you can be apart of a live mass manifestation in the face of mindless violence. Experience a deep listening concert full of impact driven musical performances, radical speakers, healing activations and a panel of powerhouse females. Appreciation and action come together as we fundraise for reproductive rights. Enjoy a diverse small biz market of women owned pop up's and a mass manifestation mid-day where we create the world we get to live in, together. Let's create change through community connection in celebration! 🗳🗳 Attendees that bring their “I voted sticker” get a free entry into our raffle to win a custom one-off art piece created at the event! 🗳🗳 Not only will we be fundraising, we are doing what we do best - sharing the tools of empathy and mindfulness. These tools have been clinically proven to empower women (humans!) and build community connection. From personal experience, I have seen complete strangers rise to the occasion together, in unity. AnnaLynne McCord is an actress (90210, Nip/Tuck), model, activist and Founder of The Love Storm. Her work centers around anti human-trafficking and she will be speaking on our Panel of powerful change-makers. Layla Razavi is an Iranian-American, Human Rights Lawyer who will share her wisdom and tools for a better tomorrow. She is the Executive Director at Freedom for Immigrants. Sophia Armen is co-chair of The Feminist Front, a grassroots Gen Z and millenial feminist organization doing direct reproductive justice and voting registration work. Victory Jones is an artist & entrepreneur who is no stranger to taking risks and fearlessly walking into the unknown. She will be creating ceremony and ritual with her sound. New album ANTENNA out now! Megan Lee Joy is our host and organizer. From making movies and making mindfulness, she will consioucly weave thought provoking connection through the experience so you leave knowing yourself and your community on a deeper level. Artist Shelley Bruce, a Los Angeles native poet, painter, and community organizer. Her work has been featured on HBO, at UCLA, at the Cleveland Museum of Art, in the LA Times, and internationally and YOU get to listen to her live share her poetry and protesting knowledge. Blossom C. Brown is a trans rights activist, spiritual life-coach and astrologist who will be sharing all of her magical wisdom on our panel! Raine Stern is a singer from Madison, Wisconsin who was a contestant on Season 20 of The Voice. Pre-save her new song “So Precarious” and listen to her rock out. Maya Rose is an actress, singer, poet, visual artist, and Founder of Kelilah Rose Armor jewelry. Most recently you may have seen her as Jena on The Sex Lives of College Girls on HBO Max! Kayla Silber is an LA-based artist creating evocative and unique mixed media + augmented reality pieces. Interact with her act! Tonia Caldrone is a Los Angeles based artist that has been creating series after series of captivating visual declarations. Calderon applies boundless structures and surfaces through a unique scope forcing the viewer to question, feel, and reflect. Samy Starborn, founder of Femme Rise in Art and Dream Waking Collective is an artist and activist who will be sharing her performance art. Trew Love is an artist, activist, entrepreneur and earth angel. Creating epic pop-art pieces to spotlight social and political truths of our time through is her jam.
