It doesn`t matter what they call it, what matters is we have people who are more comforted denying science and reality who are cowards not facing the facts and who are not willing to sacrifice, and our current and future generations will suffer for it. Our children and young adults who are alive today will feel and see the effects. People are willing to deny what their own eyes see rather than admit there is a problem. Greed is the problem. The people who are rich and in power have the ignorant/uneducated convinced climate change isn`t real even though it is obvious that it is. That being said, unless every country in the world is onboard and they can find a feasible way (would have been nice if they listened in the 80s so we already had this all figured out) to not use oil/things destroying the planet/ozone and will go solar/wind/whatever, there's no point. The ozone was healing itself during the shutdown and people just can`t seem to grasp the meaning of that. They can`t allow themselves to believe their own eyes and what is already happening to us, "us" being everyone on the planet not just people in this country. It is worse in other places on our planet and it`s just a matter of time before it`s worse here. Some people are too afraid to face facts and are willing to let future generations suffer rather than believe and face reality. We need to face it; people today are too greedy and power hungry to care about the people of tomorrow. The generations that will follow us will suffer. We did this. Our children and grandchildren will face the consequences of our actions after we are gone. They will not understand how we could have let this happen to them. A lot of them are understanding this now. It is what it is. The only way to fight it is to vote against the people who want and expect us to deny reality. Every time I see a pregnant woman, I feel bad for the person inside her. That person doesn`t have a chance at a real future/life like we have known. We did that.
