The battles going on in DFW politics aren't even real battles. Trump or Biden, Dem or Republican... It's meaningless. It's the message of small minded people who prefer to bicker among themselves. It's just their week minded way of feeling superior to someone for a short time. It just dosen't matter.... The world consists of various countries each and every country has an economic system. All economic systems, in existence are a mix of, moving to the left (communism) or the right, toward capitalism. Neither capitalism nor communism could even exist without Socialism supporting or enabling them. Communism and capitalism and nothing more than a dot on a chart or markers for comparison. Nothing more. Both are totally dependent on socialism. Without socialism (pooling of public labor and wealth), no market could even exist, and no protection for that market, or maintenance of it. No equal sharing of wealth could occur without a vehicle to first consolidate that wealth. We simply must be able to discuss upaon a basis of reality, vs fantasy is imperative to problem solving. Democracy and authoritarian are forms of government; with leftward toward more democratic and rightward toward more authoritative. There is only one example in world history of the far left example. Ancient Greece; far right has dozens upon dozens of example in world history. The GOP is trending, rapidly toward totalitarianism. The best know example of that was Rome. I don't need you remind you what happened to Rome or any of the other countless examples in world history of totalitarianism. Many fear the word socialism. It's just their own ignorance. Social Security and Medicare are wonderfull examples of socialism in action. How do you think you get drinking water when you turn on the faucet? And when you flush the toilet that waste gets treated and disposed. Roads get plowed when it snows. They get paved when potholes take over. When you pick up the phone and dial 911 emergency services and get police and an ambulance at your location. All these things and a whole lot more, are socialism in action. It's really very basic. Everyone pays into a common fund via taxes, and that money is used for the common good. Everyone benifits. In the U.S the single biggest socialist ogranization is the United States military. Everyone with the same rank gets pretty much the same pay, regardless of their jobs, whether you're a private or a general. Everyone gets free housing, free clothing, free medical care, free dental care, and free food. Democrate/Republican, Capitolist\Communism mean nothing. Just data points on a graph used for comparison. All of these can only exist because of Socialism. There are countries that do very well with socialism, USA, China, Japan, Canada, Mexico, England etc.. There are countries that don't do so well with socialism. Venzuella comes to mind. Don't let the trees block your view of the forrest..............
