bass player looking for recording project, possibly play shows

hello, im looking for a recording project while i recover from an injury. im no pro, but have been playing for 15+ years and have recording and live show / touring experience. mostly play bass, but i dabble in singing, synth, and percussion. i like playing in the pocket for the most part but can play a little flashy here and there if the song allows for it ideally we would collaborate on some new stuff but i can also add to your originals as well. it would be fun to play something a little heavier (psych / garage / surf / no wave / punk / etc) but also down for something poppy, dancy, soft / folky, etc. as long as its good and we mesh, im pretty open to the genre! i currently have some other projects going as well, but can still dedicate a decent amount of time to this project / get together and jam somewhat often, especially if we are just jamming & recording. if we wanted to play shows, i would be down, but maybe give it a little time to develop first. I live in oakland and am 34. it would be cool to meet some folks around my age, but absolutely not required. i have a little difficulty traveling due to my injury, but could possibly meet up outside of oakland if it feels like a good fit. send me your demos and i can send mine
