Work on Election Day, Nov. 8th at a pre-assigned, busy Chicago Polling location near you. Chicago: Work a half-day shift, 6 AM to 12:30 PM, or 12:30 PM to 7:00 PM shift. (bring two lawn chairs and an ice cooler with snacks. Your team-mate and you can also choose to work a FULL day shift, from 6 AM to 7 PM, stationed outside a Chicago Polling location near you (bring two lawn chairs, snacks, and an ice cooler). We need 65 teams of two people to be stationed out in front of Chicago's busiest Polling locations on Election Day, November 8th to circulate candidate petitions for a half-day in the morning, or a half-day afternoon shift. Or an ALL DAY shift from 6 AM to 7 PM (bring an ice cooler and two lawn chairs). Must: 1. Follow instructions. 2. Be able to work a half day from 6 AM to 12:30 PM, or 12:30 PM to 7:00 PM. You and your team-mate can choose to work a FULL day, from 6 AM to 7 PM outside a Chicago Polling location near you. 3. Be dependable (do what you say). 4. Punctual; be 10-15 minutes early to your assigned Chicago Polling place. 5. Be tolerant with everyone. 6. Smile and be friendly (even if the voters are not). 7. Be unafraid to ask voters for their signatures to place candidates on the Feb. 28th Chicago Municipal Ballot. 8. Handel rejection well. 9. Be a mild-tempered, easy-going person, without anger management issues. 10. Have fun working and making money (you will be paid at days-end, 7:30 – 9:00 PM). 11. Wear your valid, government-issued, picture ID while on duty.
