Boston Law School Tour Guide

Events

Tremont St. near Boston Common/Park Street MBTA, Boston MA

Description

We are hosting a tour of 5 law schools in the Boston area on Thursday, November 10th. We will start and meet at Park Street MBTA Station, and then from there visit Boston College Law School (Newton, MA), then Boston University School of Law, Northeastern University School of Law, Suffolk University Law School, and New England Law | Boston. We have a set schedule with law school representatives and ambassadors to meet with the students and show them around. The major need for the tour guide is to lead the students and guide them through public transportation (Ubers, MBTA - subway and buses) in the Boston area so they make it to the tours on time. He/she will need to be knowledgeable about the Boston area and savvy with the T Line. He/she will show students how to purchase a Charlie card and add value, and get them to the law schools and the spots where the law school reps will be able to meet and show students around. The pay is hourly. The tour will likely start at 8:00 am and end at approx. 6:30 pm so plan on a 10-hour day of walking, waiting, and talking. The tours will last about an hour at each school and the tour guide is not required to participate in the tours - just get the students there, meet them when they are done, and then take them to the next stop. The tour guide will be given money for a fully loaded Charlie card ($30), $25 stipend if it's necessary to catch a Lyft/Uber (to/from Boston College), a $15 stipend for lunch, and will be paid in full via Cashapp or Venmo after the tour is completed. Please provide info. on familiarity with public transportation in Boston area past tour guide experience, experience working with college students, and a photo/headshot. Thanks in advance.
