Colorado Home Remodeling is seeking a Logistics and Delivery Runner (Sporadic/Contract) who lives in or very near Loveland Colorado. Typical trips will be to Home Depot/Lowes/Paint Stores/ and our Shop for tools and supplies as well. Errands could include other construction supply stores such as Fergason Plumbing and others. It is possible to do this job with a car that can utilize your backseat and trunk. Runners with a pickup truck will be considered for heavy loads (which are more rare), and earn more money. Candidates should have the ability to lift up to 60lbs, with most lifts under 30. A typical "run" might include grabbing shims, screws and a saw blade from Home Depot, getting a vacuum from our Shop in Loveland then delivering to a job in Berthoud or Loveland. Loads for pickup trucks would include lumber, drywall, Insulation, and similar more bulky materials. In most cases you will have 6 business hours notice on deliveries, but in some cases, the Run will need to be made as soon as you are available. In the event that you can't respond, we understand and someone else on our team can make the run. This Contract Position pays $30/hr plus 62 cents a mile. A typical delivery would be 1.5 hrs, 10 miles, for total pay of $52. Heavier loads for pickup trucks pay 85 cents per mile along with $34/hr. Candidate must be able to pass a basic drug screen, valid driver's license and vehicle insurance, and provide 2 references from any previous recent work experiences, and have a bank account for Direct Deposit. This position is W9 Contract, (not employee), meaning this position will be W9/1099 and not W2/W4.
