Position: Entry Level Maintenance/Groundskeeper Location: Battle Creek, MI Pay Rate: $17-$20/hr (We pay weekly on Thursdays) Schedule: M-F 8am-5pm General Tasks Include: • Plumbing Repairs • Electrical • Mechanical • Carpentry • Painting • Grounds Keeping • Maintain the property in an attractive, comfortable condition • Trash pickup on the property • Power washing • Landscaping / Groundskeeping: mow grass, pull weeds, trim trees, and shrubs, watering and rake leaves Maintenance Tasks may also include: • Basic to moderate electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliance repairs and general maintenance skills • Preparing housing units for new incoming occupants • Replace and repair building finishes such as ceiling tiles, door hardware, wall paper, and can paint walls, piping, floors and equipment • Troubleshoot, evaluate, and make recommendations to upgrade maintenance operations and/or implement savings opportunities • Janitorial Tasks as needed • Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agencies, and Company directives as related to building operations and practice safe work habits EXPERIENCE: • High School Diploma • Minimum of 6 months experience in Apartment Maintenance (similar experience welcomed) • Basic Tools Needed • Reliable Transportation • Outgoing, self-motivated, and highly reliable • Ability to work alone at times, with little to no supervision • Must be able to lift 50lbs • Use of Hand Tools and Power Tools Career Strategies: Call today and find out why Career Strategies is NOT your same old temp agency – we’re different!!
