Trivia company seeks bar trivia hosts for weekly trivia shows on evenings, typically Mondays-Thursdays, usually after 5pm. Must be available Thursdays!! **Current urgent need for hosts in Babylon and surrounding area!** Must have: * Week night availability * Strong reading skills! * Ability to enunciate words CLEARLY on a microphone. * Comfortable commanding a crowd on the mic and building rapport with regulars. * Punctual - starting the trivia show on time is important! * Must be able to carry heavy equipment (speaker system, stands, and trivia playing supplies) to and from shows and be responsible for your set of equipment. * Related experience in entertainment; customer facing industries is preferred! People with sales experience also preferred! * Must have own laptop or tablet with phone jack and wifi capability to use while hosting - we provide all other equipment! * Responsible - Must take this position seriously as a weekly long-term gig! * Candidates willing to host at least 2 shows a week are preferred! This job can make for great extra weekly money for those who want to take on the opportunity and make it their own, building rapport with their regulars and growing their crowd. You sell sell yourself, your personality, and how you make the show a fun time for trivia players who will come back regularly to see you! Trivia show is hosted typically for 2 hours, up to 2.5 hours for larger crowds. Base pay of $60, with commission increases according to number of trivia players.
