We work with iconic brands and exceptional people – because you can’t have one without the other.Position Summary:Responsible for troubleshooting and providing immediate preventative and corrective maintenance support to production lines and facilitating change-over. This position also responsible for facilities maintenance.Benefits:Start at $32.08/hourUnion benefits including medical, dental, vision + morePaid holidays, vacation, and sick timeCareer advancement opportunities availablePosition Responsibilities:Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform immediate repairs and preventative maintenance on equipmentOverhaul and install new equipmentOperates newly repaired machinery and equipment to verify the adequacy of repairsRebuild and fabricate partsPerform equipment change-overs and production line set upsRecord repairs, maintenance, parts, and materials usedUtilize work orders for the requisition new parts and materials as necessary through use of a CMMS (computerized maintenance management system.)Ensure the safety needs are given a top priority in operations support and work execution. Some examples are Arc Flash/Shock Hazard safety, confined space entry, Lockout/tagout (LOTO), hazardous materials, hand tool safe use, etc.Perform maintenance inclusive of the ASRS if a manufacturing plant and distribution center have such a systemMaintain clean and safe work areaOther projects or duties as assignedRequired Skills and Experience:High School Diploma or GED. Previous vocational certificate/training preferredExperience within high-speed industrial environmentDemonstrated mechanical and technical aptitudeBasic computer skills and ability to use a computer system and associated softwareAbility to follow manufacturers’ specifications and schematicsUse personal hand tools on the job.
