Help deliver free Christmas trees to families in need

We are looking for volunteers to help us deliver free Christmas trees to families who are going through a difficult time this holiday season. More info: www.gtrees.org/deliver/pdx Background: For background my wife and I started an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit called The Giving Trees through which we deliver free, natural Christmas trees (as well as lights, ornaments, and decorations) during the holiday season to families who are going through a rough period. In 2020, our first year, we delivered 117 trees here in Oregon. Last year, we delivered 721 trees across 12 states. This year, we’ll deliver >1,500 trees across all 50 states + 5 other countries. To pull this off, we need help delivering trees across the greater Portland area. What's good to know: - We deliver trees between Nov 25 - Dec 18 - Deliver as many/few trees as you’d like - The trees are ~5 feet tall, baled/tied and ready to go - Take as many as will fit in your vehicle, whether it's 1, 10, or any other amount - We’ll work with your schedule and desired delivery areas If you are interested, please add your name to the form at the bottom of this page: www.gtrees.org/deliver/pdx We will then follow up with you about scheduling a window of time when it's convenient for you to deliver a tree.
