Job Summary The Service Foreman Assistant is responsible for safely assisting the service foreman in all daily operations of the service department. Service work includes roofing repairs, roof scope work and preventative maintenance. Service technicians are required to maintain a professional appearance and behavior while on jobsites to ensure they are meeting the company’s customer service standards. Service foreman assistants have the ability to train directly under our service foreman professionals each day gaining knowledge and experience from them that is needed to be promoted into your own truck as a service foreman. Primary Responsibilities • COMPLY WITH ALL COMPANY SAFETY REQUIREMENTS • Maintaining company equipment such as: vehicles, tools, phones, iPad etc. • Maintain company truck: stocking vehicle with necessary materials, cleaning inside & out, performing vehicle inspections checklists when required • Assist Foreman with carrying materials and tools to and from truck to roof • Ability to carry and set up ladders as needed • Assist foreman with leak investigations and roof repairs • Comfortable with heights and working outdoors in inclement weather • Ability to repeatedly bend, kneel, crawl, climb both stairs & ladders • Must be able to lift 30 to 50 lbs. Regularly • Properly equip and use safety equipment as required to include harnesses, scaffolding, hoists, lifts etc. • Ability to follow directions effectively and efficiently • Complete job-site cleanup such as trash and debris removal and disposal • Completes all other duties as assigned • Performs work that meets or exceeds company standards Qualified candidates are eligible for industry standard hourly rates based on experience plus bonus opportunities.
