This position will oversee a small group of warehouse associates and drivers. The Lead Warehouse Associate/Dispatcher is required to comply with all safety and quality policies and procedures as defined by Trilogy MedWaste to include but not limited to DOH, DOT, OSHA standards and general housekeeping practices. Primary Job Duties/Responsibilities Unload and load vehicles and processing equipment Review and sign manifests and shipping papers Scan waste and weigh with accuracy Handles all Dispatching functions such as routing and organizing drivers’ routes Maintain relations with drivers and operations staff Report for and successfully complete all training as required Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience preferred Knowledge of barcode scanning; Inventory management skills Knowledge of Hazardous Materials and OSHA Regulations Must be forklift certified Quickly adapt to changing business demands Licensed for vehicle to be driven (min. Class C); Class A or Class B license also a big plus Must be able to obtain and maintain a Medical Examiner’s Card (MEC) Strong communication skills Excellent organizational and prioritization skills EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK Able to work an agreed upon standard schedule Additional hours as job duties demand Travel - Other Travel to domestic Trilogy facilities when necessary (less than 10%) Must have a current, valid driver's license Able to be insurable under our company's liability insurance policy WORK CONDITIONS Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
