JOB #864-227 Pacesetter Personnel Services is hiring Safety Watchers in the Northwest Houston, TX 77092. Job Duties: - Awareness of health and safety basics - Ability to reassure others - Ability to stay calm in stressful situations - Ability to explain procedures simply and clearly - Communication skills with people at multiple experience levels - Planning skills - Observation skills - Understand the use of and importance of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) - Monitor work spaces to identify potential hazards. - Follow, reinforce and report violations of company safety policies - Perform daily walk through inspections; ensure safety signage is up and visible for all employees. - Refill safety supplies at designated dispensers - Other duties as assigned Job Requirements: Must have reliable transportation. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment. Must be able to pass a background check and drug test. Schedule: Monday-Friday from 7:00AM-4:30PM. Weekends and overtime as needed. Pay: $16.00 an hour. We pay weekly.
