Excavator Operator for Fiber Install Crew

We are looking for team members with a good attitude, flexibility, willingness to work a FULL week, and conscious of safety and situational awareness. Candidates being considered for hire must have a valid driver's license, consent to an MVR, drug screen, and pass a background check. Crew will be 100% travel Monday through Friday. Hotels provided. MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION to get to construction site!!! If Interested, please send your resume/Work history. Job Summary & Essential Responsibilities: • Drive equipment trailers to and from location. • Load and unload equipment and materials. • Conduct routine preventative maintenance on equipment. • Use excavator to dig pits and place underground equipment as necessary. • Fill water trucks and hookup plumbing as needed to support job site operations. • Handle and place Fiber Optic Cabling • Follow safety policies and procedures and wear the required personal protective equipment required for the job in a safe manner. Qualifications • Must have at least 2+ years’ experience in operating Excavator • English is a must. Bilingual in English and Spanish plus. • Mechanical knowledge / background is a plus • Ability to handle physical workload • Ability to work in a team • Ability to work in all weather conditions • Possess High School Diploma or Equivalency. • Valid driver’s license; • Clean MVR driving record. • 100% travel necessary for this position • Ability to work with little supervision, while adding to a safe and positive team environment is a must • Successful completion of pre-employment drug & alcohol requirements
