We are looking for a full-time delivery truck driver for a wholesale food company delivering products primarily to institutional clients in the tri-state area. The job starts at 2:00am and goes until you are finished with your route. On average, the time commitment is approximately, but not limited to, 45-55 hours per week, Monday thru Friday. No weekends. The trucks 16 foot box trucks and do not require a CDL license. Trucks are loaded and unloaded by the driver. Applicants must submit to a criminal background check and drug test to be eligible for the position. A clean driving license with no moving violations is also required. 401k benefits are available. Employees get 14 paid personal days per year, after a vesting period, and most major holidays paid off. Food product knowledge and route experience are also a plus. The job pays 1000.00/wk for the required two week training period. Thereafter, it goes up to 1100.00-1250.00 per wk. PERIODIC INCREASES in salary are made based on employee performance. You will generally receive your first increase after 1-2 months of good performance. 401k.
