Progressive groove metal veterans BYZANTINE are set to release BLACK SEA CODEX, their first offering of music since 2017’s The Cicada Tree (Metal Blade). This album, which is comprised of re-recorded versions of some of BYZANTINE’s earliest demos along with 2 new covers, will be released digitally through all streaming services and physically through the bands own website. Having released 6 albums worldwide on various labels, BYZANTINE are currently writing material for their 7th full length album due out on Metal Blade Records in 2023.
