Join our fly-tying experts and learn how to tie some of the most effective flies for both salt- and freshwater. Classes will be held on Wednesday evenings with Session 1 beginning November 9, 2022 and ending January 18, 2023. (There will be no class on November 23 or December 28.) Session 2 begins January 25 and ends March 22, 2023. NEW! Each night we are offering a Beginner Class from 5-6:30pm followed by an Intermediate Class from 7-8:30pm. Please do not sign up for both. Session 2 will be a repeat of Session 1, allowing students to graduate from beginner to intermediate level or repeat a session. WEEK 1 Intermediate Parachute Adams. Parachute flies are particularly effective as they blur the line between dry fly and emerger. Their horizontal hackle allows them to sit low in the surface film and the bright colored post allows the angler to see their fly in low light or other visually challenging circumstances.
