We are seeking community input! In November, we will be engaging community partners to help us better understand the SEH needs of the region. Advanced Health, AllCare Health and the South Coast Regional Early Learning Hub are working on an effort to improve kindergarten readiness by increasing Social-Emotional Health (SEH) service capacity and access for children birth to age 5. What is Social Emotional Health?The capacity of the child from birth to 5 years old to: • Form close and secure relationships with their primary caregivers and other adults and peers; • Experience, manage, and express a full range of emotions; and, • Explore the environment and learn, all in the context of family, community, and culture. Our goals• Increase access to Social-Emotional Health (SEH) screening and services throughout our region. • Work with community partners to remove barriers and increase capacity for Social-Emotional Health (SEH) services.
