The OK City Chorus will present their first public performance since earning a gold medal last month in Phoenix at the Sweet Adelines International Competition.
The Christmas Show, entitled “Notes to Santa”, will include a collection of a cappella holiday songs. Youngsters in the audience will enjoy songs like Jingle bells and Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer while Irving Berlin’s White Christmas and Frank Sinatra’s Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas will appeal to those craving the classics. The chorus will demonstrate its musical diversity on other pieces like the beautiful spiritual Mary Had a Baby and the haunting harmonies of the Pentatonix hit, White Winter Hymnal.
The OK City Chorus will present two performances of the show at First Church, 131 NE 4th St., located just east of the National Memorial in downtown OKC. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. with the show at 7:00 p.m.
