Assemblers: • Use hand tools, including crimpers, and measuring tools • Pull and position various size electrical wire neatly in a predefined pattern • Work while standing for extended periods of time in an air-conditioned environment • Give meticulous attention to detailed written and oral work instructions • Frequently lift up to 10 pounds • Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds • Receive training from Supervisor and other technicians in various disciplines (cross training) as needed • Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor. • Maintain a constant visual on parts and supplies stored on the shop floor. • Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations. • Complete tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision. • Follow all safety rules, ISO requirements and build units to the highest standard of quality. Bench Mechanics: • Perform bench-type mechanical assembly of low volume specialty a/c units, and sub-assemblies, using hand tools, pneumatic tools, acetylene torch and brazing equipment. • Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor. • Maintain a constant visual on parts and supplies stored on the shop floor. • Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations. • Complete tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision. • Follow production schedule and complete items on the list. • Follow all safety rules, ISO requirements and build units to the highest standard of quality.
