Description

This year we are bringing back the dine-in elements of our traditional Feast of Thanksgiving and adding what we've learned through two years of the COIVD-19 pandemic. To minimize crowding in the kitchen, we are continuing to ask for volunteers to prepare food at home and bring it to the church. Volunteer shifts are limited to 10 people per shift. All volunteers and guests are required to wear a mask except when sitting at a table. Donate Food: Volunteers are needed to prepare food in your own location and deliver to Eliot Church on Wednesday, November 23 or first thing in the morning on Thursday, November 24. To ensure we have the right amount of food, you must register on this page for the food items you will bring. Food should be fully cooked upon delivery to the church. Volunteer Shifts: Volunteers (limited to 10 per shift for COVID safety precautions) are needed to pack, distribute, and clean-up. All food prep and in-person volunteers MUST register on this page to participate. All volunteers will be required to wear a mask while in the building. Dine-in and Meal Pick-up: No registration is required to pick up a meal. Doors will open at 11am, and food will be served from 11:30am to 12:30pm. Take-out meals will be available for those who are not comfortable dining in. Meals will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis and we expect to have plenty of food for all who come. Meal Delivery: Limited delivery is available with in the city of Lowell. To request delivery, please contact Bernie at (978) 985-1574.
