La caminata será de alrededor de 4-5 millas en total con una ligera inclinación. ¡Planeamos hacer un tiempo de estar en comunitaria y traeremos conchas y chocolate caliente para compartir! No se necesita experiencia. (English below) Latino Outdoors invites you, your friends, and your family to join us for a light hike/fall stroll in the Arnold Arboretum. The hike will be around 4-5 miles total with light incline. We plan on doing some community building work and will bring conchas y chocolate caliente para compartir! No experience required. At Latino Outdoors, we inspire, connect, and engage Latino communities in the outdoors and embrace cultura y familia as part of the outdoor narrative, ensuring our history, heritage, and leadership are valued and represented. Cost: FREE! Date: Saturday, November 5th, 2022 from 10AM-1PM Where: We will be meeting at the Forest Hills MBTA Stop (last stop on the Orange Line outbound) and walking over together. Parking is available on site and in the vicinity. There are bathrooms at the Arboretum. Who: This is a family friendly event, and all ages are encouraged to attend! We are capping this event at 30 participants to ensure that our volunteers can meet group needs. What to Bring: It’s getting chilly outside! Consider dressing in layers and bringing a hat, gloves, and a scarf if you have them! Boots or sneakers should be fine for the terrain. Consider bringing a hot thermos as well if you have one for hot chocolate!
