Partners 4 Rehab Excellence presents:Thrust Manipulation for Upper Quarter Dysfunction: A Case Based ApproachCourse Description: This weekend case-based lab course includes manipulation (thrust mobilization) techniques from a research and evidence-informed perspective directed at the cervical spine, thoracic spine and upper extremity. The course is designed to emphasize clinical reasoning, therapeutic alliance, with heavy concentration of the psychomotor skill development of manipulation techniques for orthopedic manual physical therapists. This course will include the clinical reasoning behind the use of these techniques to improve pain, movement and functional outcomes for patients with upper quarter musculoskeletal dysfunction. Manual therapy interventions are presented through live lab demonstrations. This 1.5-day (13 CEHs*) course will follow a progression of principles and reinforce them throughout in a three-case based environment and will give the clinician hands-on skills they can use immediately upon their return to the clinical setting. Course Agenda: Saturday, December 11th, 2022: 8am-5pm Sunday, December 12th, 2022: 8am-2pm *15 CEHs satisfy requirements by the standards of CTAPTA, NYAPTA , APTAMA and 26 other states.
