Desperate Need to Rehome Dog

Hello, We desperately need to find a new forever home for Boone. Boone needs a very specific type of home where we know he will thrive and be a wonderful companion. I'll get into details below but our criteria for rehoming him are that he goes to a very patient single person or couple without children, cats or hyper dogs and he must have a fenced yard to have freedom in. Boone turned 1 on July 5th. He is neutered and will be up to date on shots on 11/15. His favorite things are car rides and a game of fetch/chuck it and will not stop playing until you do. Boone is very sweet with my husband and I and if we didn't have kids, ours would be his forever home. Boone is fearful of strangers and takes a lot of time and patience to establish a relationship with people. He successfully calms down when a game of fetch is involved and frequent introductions to people. He is increasingly uncomfortable around our young daughter and recently has started fixating and lunging at her. Because of his being uncomfortable with our daughter, fearfulness which we do not have the skills to help him through and because we do not have the ability to fence our yard, Boone must find a new home. Boone currently lives with 2 cats but is very interested in cats outdoors and will immediately chase them, for that reason, I wouldn't recommend a home with cats unless there are very slow introductions. Boone enjoys mellow dogs and seems to follow their lead and gain confidence from them. He does not like hyper dogs who will jump on him. Boone has been in training since he was 6 months old. Our current trainer says she is confident that he is not an aggressive dog, just a fearful one. He has successfully boarded with her, in her home when we were out of town. He is crate, muzzle and house trained and listens very well to basic commands.
