SEASONAL SNOW REMOVAL OPERATOR
INTRODUCTION
A snowblower’s central duty is to operate a snowplow and/or bobcat to clear snow from the roadways. This often involves going out late at night or early in the morning to clear snow since precipitation is unpredictable and roads need to be cleared before rush hour traffic hits. Plows also commonly have spreaders on the back that are used to release salt and sand onto the roads as you drive to prevent build-up or freezing.
QUALIFICATION
1. Have appropriate driving experience. For safety reasons, you should have experience driving large vehicles and be able to handle poor visibility, winter weather conditions, icy roads.
2. Submit the current year’s driving record.

• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
• Spread salt or thawing chemicals onto roadway from rear of moving truck, using shovel.
