FREE TURKEYS FOR VETS - MILITARY AND VETERANS FAMILIES - THANKSGIVING Saturday November 19,2022 - 10:00am-noon Community Ambulance Company 420 Lakeland Avenue, Sayville NY 11782 The Community Ambulance Company partnering with the Suffolk AME (Association of Municipal Employees), Suffolk County Police Veterans Association, Miller & Caggiano LLP, The Tap Room, Suffolk Federal Credit Union, Dash Simplified Solutions (DSS) and Lyter Group Inc. are providing approximately 200 free Turkeys for Military and Veterans Families on Saturday November 19,2022 from 10:00am-noon located at Community Ambulance Company - 420 Lakeland Avenue in Sayville next to the Sayville VFW Post 433. One free 10-14 pound turkey will be provided for the Thanksgiving holiday as a way to say THANK YOU for your service. This offer is NOT based on economic needs, so Military, Veterans & families should not hesitate to stop by and pick up a Turkey while supplies last. Simply drive up collect your Turkey and other items without the need to exit your vehicle. - Thank you to the Sayville Fire Department and Restaurant Depot of Bohemia for assisting with transporting and logistical support. - Will be joined by the Civilian Aid to the Secretary of the Army Steve Castleton. - The Suffolk County Department of Fire Rescue & Emergency Services will be on hand to disseminate information sheets on how veterans can volunteer in the local fire and EMS agencies throughout Suffolk County. - Active Military, Veterans and the general public who support Veterans and law Enforcement can speak to someone from the Suffolk County Police Veterans Association and learn how you can join the association. - The LT Michael P. Murphy Navy SEAL Museum Board will be on hand to disseminate information to the veterans on the new museum services and programs. - The Connetquot High School and Middle School Volleyball teams will be on hand to give out bags with additional sides and fixings to each of the veterans who attend.
