Influences: MCR / dark 00s emo / want to write songs together?

I always feel weird listing influences because I don't want to rip off bands. I have been writing songs for a long time and have a few in progress song ideas I'd like to develop with another songwriter, and maybe between both of us we can come up with instrumentation. I'm inspired by emo a lot, especially right now My Chemical Romance. I feel like music is this way of communicating that defies language and like writing from that place. Seeking jam partners/friends/potential bandmates/collaborators.
