Waterfowl should be around in good numbers, and we’ll hope for some seabird migration along the ocean where we could find numerous scoters, loons, gannets, and gulls. Mid-November can be a good time for oddities as well, and we’ll explore the hook’s thickets and woods for late-fall land birds. Trip is open to youth ages 11-17 who are interested in birds plus parents/guardian. Meet at Sandy Hook, parking lot B, about halfway down the lot by the bathrooms. Led by Scott Barnes and Carole Hughes.Cost: Free; preregistration is required.
