We have to rehome our cat who is 14 years old. We brought him to our new condo in August but the unit flooded in Ian and we can’t live there anymore. We have to find a rental and our cat needs a new home. He isn’t a pest, he likes to be in the room with you and will come over for pets and attention. If you want, he likes to be the little spoon at night and curl up next to you. He nuzzles and purrs. He has never had an accident, he uses litter box and he comes with all his stuff including scratching post and extra cat food and extra litter. He doesn’t like to be picked up unless it’s his idea. He will jump up and sit on your lap when you call him (but only when he wants to). He is a black short hair in good health. He would be happiest as an only pet, but he has lived his life with other cats and two dogs. He will dominate the dogs, he likely won’t play with them. He likes to walk outside each day but he never goes more than 5 ft from the house. He is a primarily indoor cat but he doesn’t run away at all. We would like to find him a home so he can stay in one place and be happy with someone to love him. Let us know a little about the home you want to offer him.
