Looking to “rehome” our Golden Albino Axolotl. It’s still too young to determine gender as males can start showing between 6-12 months of age and females around 18 months. The birthdate is 02/27/2022. It comes with a fully cycled 40g tank, it’s hide, a canister filter, a months supply of worms, nearly two full freshwater master test kits, siphon, an RO machine, and four food safe buckets for water changes. There are also various chemicals included to remineralize the RO water used for weekly water changes included. Axolotls are considered exotic pets and would generally need someone who’s familiar with how to care for them. We easily spent over $1k for everything included. The tank does have sand and driftwood that would come with. We have no issues transporting if within Sioux Falls. Asking $six hundred OBO. Feel free to ask questions or make offers. It’s a beautiful animal that doesn’t require much work on its own. You’ll spend most of your time doing once a week water changes provided you have good water or use the included RO machine. Unfortunately SF has ammonia in its water(toxic to axolotls)which is where the RO machine comes into place. I’m happy to educate and help where needed as well as point you in the right direction when it comes to care.
