The National Institute of Minority Economic Development (NIMED) is conducting a regional workforce equity assessment on behalf of the Piedmont Triad Regional Council. We will be holding a public listening session at the NC Works Career Center- Troy on Dec 1 from 1:00pm to 2:30pm. We are interested in hearing your experiences in seeking employment, some of the successes you may have had, as well as some of the barriers you have experienced in finding a good job. Your participation is vital to our effort to provide a complete and accurate understanding of the workforce training needs in the area. Participants will be compensated for their time with a $20 Walmart gift card.
