Service Technician/ Industrial Maintenance

Martin Maintenance Solutions is a small business specializing in maintenance and repair of conveyor systems and material handling equipment. We also offer general facility and loading dock services for our customers. We are currently seeking a qualified service technician to provide service to our customers. Duties and Responsibilities: -Complete scheduled maintenance on conveyor systems and material handling equipment in accordance with OEM standards and customer requirements. Document discrepancies and provide recommendations for replacement/repair of components. -Respond to and complete mechanical and electrical repairs to conveyor systems and material handling equipment during customers operations. -Maintain and inventory customers parts storage area and effectively communicate the necessity to reorder parts/materials. -Maintain equipment and tools including air compressors and belt lacing tools. -Utilize safety equipment and Comply with OSHA Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures. Requirements: -Technical trades school, high school diploma or equivalent combination of education and work experience. -Demonstrate knowledge of industrial mechanical and electrical systems and the ability to maintain, troubleshoot, and complete repairs. -Ability to complete tasks without supervision. -Welding/Fabrication experience. (Preferred) -PLCs/Drives exposure. (Preferred) -Excellent written and oral skills. -Must have own hand tools, electrical test equipment and reliable vehicle capable to retrieve equipment and parts. -Must be able to work on call hours. -Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check.
