My People Momma is ill

I’m a 12-year-old mixed breed big boy dog. My People Momma cannot care for me while she awaits surgery. She does want me back when she’s well. Not sure when. She’s ready to get this surgery wrapped up but there’s a clinical trial in play. Slows everything down. You gotta go through what you gotta go through. I’ve been boarding for a month here in Athens and whew, expense is adding up. None of the official foster groups will consider me ‘cause my People Momma loves me and wants me back. Those groups only foster surrenders. That makes me doggone sad because I’m left out of foster system. But I need a foster home! I’m very used to leash walking. I live inside with multiple old cats. (But these are cats I know personally; I might get grumpy around strange cats. Just sayin’) I’m not crazy about annoying little yapper dogs. I’d really love some PEOPLE ATTENTION again. Yep, I’m neutered. Won’t somebody give me a good home temporarily?
