One Wave Beyond, a surf instrumental trio in the East Bay Area is looking for a versatile, easy going drummer with a good sense of humor to join our group. Band formed in 2015 and played through 2018. We played private parties, clubs, cafes and county fairs. We are in our 50's and are looking for someone who knows this type of music and needs little rehearsing. We are looking to play shows and rehearse only as needed to prep for a gig or to have fun. We have connections to get paid gigs but may perform for some shows for exposure or charitable functions which sometimes are little or no pay gigs. We look to play surf and instrumental songs with styles ranging from pop, jazz, country, latin, new wave,etc. Our influences include The Ventures, Dick Dale, The Surfaris, Chantays, Beatles, Monkees, Beach Boys, Eddie Cochran, Duane Eddy.
