Hotel Boulderado is currently looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician. Come and join our team! The 160-room property offers historic charm for the modern traveler with top-of-the-line amenities. Maintenance Technician are responsible for assisting the team to deliver outstanding guest service, hospitality, and financial profitability. As a Maintenance Technician you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards (flexible schedule accommodations including working holidays and weekends are required): - Snow removal on a large property - Indoor and outdoor painting - Groundskeeping - Light other janitorial type duties - Performs routine, preventative, and/or urgent maintenance for equipment and property (sometimes using power or hand tools); reports issues to management - Coordinating with other departments to resolve maintenance requests and work orders - Troubleshoot issues and repair as needed - Provide support to team in maintenance initiatives - Assists other departments and contractors as needed - Operates electrical and gasoline-powered equipment - Performs a variety of tasks including carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical, lamp changing, dry wall maintenance as needed Qualifications: The continued and successful leadership of the restaurant’s incredible operation is the result of team member commitment to the hotel vision, mission, and values. 3+ years of experience in related heavy duty maintenance job or equivalent combination of training and experience Ability to drive a vehicle with active drivers license Ability to drive a plow and/or tractor Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays Leadership, self-discipline, initiative, team player, integrity Ability to multitask while keeping up with new projects each day Focus on guest service and satisfaction Creative and efficient problem solving Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Create and maintain a positive working relationship with all departments, front and back of house Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Understand the hotel’s operations Self-motivated and self-directed We are an equal opportunity employer who agrees not to discriminate against any employee or job applicant because of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, physical or mental disability, or age.
