LID Landscapes is currently hiring for an experienced Small Engine Mechanic to repair and maintain of a fleet of landscape and snowplow equipment, diesel trucks, tractors, skid steers, and trailers.
Mechanic Primary Duties Include
Inspect, repair and maintain trucks and vehicles including: diesel engines, automatic transmissions, air brake systems, steering and suspension.
Preventative Maintenance – oil changes, tire rotation, tune ups, brake repairs.
May assist with a fleet of landscape and snowplow equipment, diesel trucks, tractors, skid steers, trailers.
Continuously learn new technical information and techniques.
Maintain an organized and neat work area.
Complete written record of work performed.
Mechanic Job Requirements
2+ years of strong small engine repairs, problem-solving and service experience.
Must provide complete set of mechanics tools.
Must provide Motor Vehicle Report for driver’s license.
Reliable transportation to work.
CDL License, preferred not required.
