Fire Protection Company looking for a shop person/material handler. Prefer someone with a strong knowledge of shipping, receiving; keeping inventory but willing to train the right person. Position available immediately. Work vehicle will be provided when performing pick up and deliveries. Duties include: Keeping shops stocked with needed parts, shipping and receiving parts/materials, verifying shipments for accuracy, preparing and ordering needed parts/materials for technicians in field, delivering to jobsite's, process OTC orders, delivery of mail to other office's, keeping paper records of order's,shipments and deliveries. Assisting in Management of our fleet vehicles including tracking of maintenance and repair services needed and scheduling appointments for these. Washing vehicles and helping technicians restock the vehicles will also be required. Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50lbs Hours M-F 8-5pm This position will require constant communication w/office,technicians, and other Shop persons so good communication skills are a must. Must have basic knowledge of pipe,fittings and hardware material. Valid Drivers License Must have reliable transportation to and from work. Fluent in English Basic math skills required Basic computer knowledge Attention to detail Appreciation for accurate record keeping Benefits available after probation period.
