Description
One Life at a Time Animal Rescue has had 2 female gerbils looking for a home for months now. So, I thought I would put a post on craigslist to see if they get any interest.
The gerbils are around 8 months old and are agouti-colored sisters called Mango and Papaya. They are friendly and easy to handle but like all gerbils are fast when you go to pick them up. They are very active and healthy, love deep bedding, cardboard tubes and running in their wheel.
The enclosure they can be adopted with them, it is a 50-gallon storage bin style cage. It is very sturdy; they do not chew on it, and it offers them a lot of space to explore. The cage comes with water bottle, food bowl, two nest houses, a 9" exercise wheel and lots of tunnels including extra cardboard tubes to chew up and some hay.
The adoption fee is $10 for the gerbils (with a rescue adoption contract to sign) and the donation for the cage including everything inside is $40.
