Full Time - Lead Carpenter Assistant

We are Sure Guard Construction and are currently hiring for an assistant/helper to one of our lead carpenters. They will work primarily in the Vancouver/Portland-metro area on various residential projects. Looking to hire as soon as possible. All applications must have a background in construction and know how to properly use hand and power tools without assistance. All applicants must also have their drivers license, ability to commute to work, climb a ladder, fluently speak and write in english, and be able to lift at least 50lbs. without assistance. Some day-to-day tasks that will be performed: - Purchasing of materials from supply houses - Installing of doors/windows 🪟 - Siding install - Finish carpentry 🔨 🪚 For applicants able to perform the above listed tasks, and additional skills below, pay will be up to $35 an hour: ✨ - Experience in interior/exterior painting using spray gun, without assistance - Interior dry wall repair/patching - Various texture matching 🔍 - Experience using hot mud Pay varies based on experience.
