The Governor has allocated money to provide scholarships for anyone wanting to go into the field of medicine as an Emergency Medical Technician. As an EMT you can work in Hospitals, Emergency Rooms, Nursing Homes, Urgent Care Clinics, Fire Departments, Ambulance Companies, Industrial Medicine, Oil Field aid stations, Cruise Ship Aide Stations, etc. etc. Day and Night certification courses are currently being offered through ArcLight Academy.
