All dogs in the foster home MUST be up to date on shots due to distemper outbreak at shelter. We don't deserve to die because a non-caring person dumped us at the shelter. Read about us below and call Immediately We are all good loving dogs!! TWITCH: #4789510A (Dog Friendly) I’m a 2-year-old, neutered, red/white, American Pit Bull Terrier (37.5 lbs.) I'm a volunteer favorite!! I'm a tail-wagging, friendly pup that wants attention and loves to be petted! I have even given “kisses” and know “sit” and “shake”. There is nothing indicating any reactivity around other dogs. LEO: #A4668648 (Dog Friendly) I’m a 5-year-old, neutered, black/tan German Shepherd/Siberian Husky Mix (69 lbs.) I first came in as a stray, was adopted for 7 mos. and then surrendered due to a family emergency. My owners said I did well with children 4 and 5 years old, was potty trained, and was non-aggressive but took time to warm up to strangers. I’m calm, independent and friendly. I love attention and lean in for pets! I “sit” on command, take treats gently, walk best when harnessed, and have been non-reactive when in proximity to other dogs. MIKEY: #A4786893 (Dog Friendly) I’m a 1-year-old, neutered, chocolate/white, Patterdale Terrier/Labrador Retriever Mix (39 lbs.) I was wandering homeless when picked up and brought to the shelter. I’m an adorable puppy! I was scared at first; but with a little encouragement, I have become friendly and now love to be petted all over! I’m great on-leash, and there is nothing in my notes indicating any reactivity around other dogs. ARIELLE: #A4786186 (Dog Friendly) I’m a 1-year-old, spayed, black/brown, German Shepherd (49.5 lbs.) I came to the shelter as a stray. Sometimes the barking dogs and unexpected sounds have made me nervous. I’m gentle, well-behaved, friendly, and I take treats gently. I like playing fetch and being brushed. I’m smart…picked up the “sit” in one day! I’m scared of the barking dogs at the shelter but have been non-reactive. PLEASE REMEMBER!! All these dogs have been living in a high-stress environment and will need time to de-stress and relax!!
