Description
I'm a baby boomer guitarist looking for a bass player to fill out a power trio to play "deep tracks" rock songs from the 70's-90's. Just looking to jam at first then getting out to open mikes and/or gigging when there's enough material together. Practice at my house in Reston where I've got a fully functional music room (drum kit, PA, mics, bass and guitar amps, etc.) ready to go.
Always open to suggestions but a quick sampling of some potential songs would be:
Tom Petty - Last Dance w/ Mary Jane
Robin Trower - Fool and Me
Lenny Kravitz - Fly Away
Skynyrd - Needle and the Spoon
David Bowie - Cat People
Smithereens - Blood and Roses
Dire Straits - Six Blade Knife
U2 - Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For
Patti Smith - Dancing Barefoot
Byrds - So You Want to be a Rock and Roll Star
Jethro Tull - A New Day Yesterday
Talking Heads - Girlfriend is Better
Stones - Beast of Burden
Hit me up if you're interested!
