VOLUNTEER POSITION
Do you enjoy science, technology, reading, problem-solving and working with numbers? Do you like helping others? You don’t need to be an expert at math! Mentor a teenager or an adult learner in science, reading, technology in basic, everyday math, English, technology and help them improve their skills, gain confidence, and reach their goals.
If you are interested in supporting a student to improve their Science, Technology, English, basic math skills, we would love to hear from you. Please note that we require background screening. Tutoring sessions will be virtual (30 min to 60 min). Training and support are provided.
Money Matters 101 is a non-profit organization that partners with community agencies and educators to provide workshops, training and handbooks that covers college and financial planning for teenagers. We work with community agencies by providing basic financial literacy programs as teens prepare for college or enter the work force.
Tutoring Training, support, and learning materials are provided.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills and telephone etiquette
• Excellent computer skills including Word and Excel
• Solid background in file management
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Organized, dependable, and punctual
