Description
We are a bassist, drummer and guitar/keyboards (yes- we actually have a really solid keyboard player!!) assembling a new project to gig 70s-80s-90s music locally.
We are "seasoned" musicians (that sounds much better than "a couple old dudes", right??) that do our homework and productively rehearse WITHOUT taking ourselves too seriously (we have day-jobs; no one is expecting to get rich/famous here). Our objective is to find like-minded individuals willing to put in the necessary effort to develop a polished performance (electric or acoustic, as the venue desires) and ultimately gig 1-2/month locally. We’re not particularly bound to any one genre of music (though we ARE really enjoying the 90s stuff at the moment and venue owners seem to be booking that era aggressively of late).
Our motto is simple: "Have Fun/Don't Suck". No egos, no drama, and *no* BS. - our goal is to simply develop a setlist of tunes the crowd instantly recognizes but hasn't heard played-out to death (looking at you, "Sweet Child O' Mine"). We're fully outfitted with a great practice space, PA, etc and are ready to get to work. Age/Gender is not a deciding factor but we do ask that you are experienced enough to learn/play a mutually selected set in a reasonable timeframe.
Join us and let's go have some fun (while, you know….not sucking too bad).
