Who We Are Boxed Market is a unique service bringing home delivery of all of your everyday products to the NYC area. We are seeking a strong team to help build the business into the premiere service for customers to do all of their day to day shopping. Job Summary: The Delivery Associate position is primarily responsible for delivering all products in a safe and quick manner via E-bikes. Delivery Associates must also assist Packing Associates with picking/packing during high volume periods. We are currently looking for full time & part-time associates for morning, mid-day and closing shifts throughout the week with Saturday and Sunday availability a must. Responsibilities: Deliver products to customers in a fast but safe manner via E-Bikes while following all NYC transportation laws. Interact in a friendly and professional manner with customers, doormen, and building concierge. Light cleaning (sweeping/mopping/taking out trash/breaking down cardboard) around the warehouse during slow volume periods and closing time. Assist Packing Associates with picking/packing orders during high volume periods. Requirements Attention to detail and accuracy a must. Must have prior experience as a delivery rider or courier Must reliably show up on time for shifts Solid verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work morning, mid-day, or closing shifts on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays Ability to lift loads up to 40 lbs unassisted and push carts weighing up to 90 lbs unassisted. Ability to operate an E-Bike across long stretches of Brooklyn in unfavorable weather conditions. Knowledge of NYC transportations laws and regulations and ability to follow them. All Boxed Market associates must be able to provide proof of vaccination against COVID-19 upon hiring. Benefits Base Hourly rate starts at $15 with an additional average of $10 to $15 an hour in tips High performers can make $25 - $30/hr (after tips)!!
