OVERVIEW: Wood Stove Kitchen is looking to hire a warehouse manager to oversee our warehouse and the fulfillment of individual and wholesale orders. This job is based both in Goffstown and Manchester, NH and requires transportation to move between our warehouses during the day. Hours are Monday to Friday from 8am-4:30pm. ABOUT US: Wood Stove Kitchen, established 2017, is a food and beverage company specializing in cocktail mixes, spices/seasonings, and more. We are growing rapidly and pride ourselves on shipping items effectively and safely in a manner that avoids product damage. The team is small and flexible. Staff take on a range of rolls as needed. PRIMARY DUTIES: - Preparing orders for shipping (e.g., generating packing slips, shipping labels, BOLs, etc.) - Packing boxes and overseeing other staff packing boxes and building/wrapping pallets - Handing all shipping and receiving duties - Liaising with UPS, FedEx, USPS, and freight carriers to ensure shipments are picked up - Ordering materials for the warehouse (e.g., cartons, tape, packing materials, cleaning supplies) - Ensuring that all facilities are organized and clean at all times - Labeling product bottles and jars when needed - Ensuring personal and worker safety - Driving our rented Ryder truck (20 or 26 footer) approx. 4-6 hours per week - Arranging for trash pickup - Assisting with set up for events, as needed This individual will work primarily in the warehouse along the rest of the small-but-growing warehouse/fulfillment team. He or she will work on the computer 1-2 hours per day preparing orders. The manager is a core part of the fulfillment team and will need to be packing boxes and arranging shipments most of the day. COMPETENCIES: This person should have the following knowledge/skills. - Basic computer skills; training will be provided on our systems/software. - Knowledge of warehouse organization, box packing, pallet configurations, etc. - Ability to drive a non-CDL truck as necessary; all driving is within New Hampshire. - Ability to use pallet jacks. - Ability to lift ~40 pounds. - Familiarity with warehouse safety. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: This position pays $25+ per hour depending on skills and experience. During interviews we ca discuss hourly versus salaried compensation. Payment is made every other Friday. Healthcare is available after three months of full-time employment. You receive two weeks of paid leave per year.
