ABOUT THE SPEAKER:Jeffrey Spear (President & Creative Director of Studio Spear) JEFFREY SPEAR is the President of Studio Spear, a boutique branding agency with clients on every continent except Antarctica. Working primarily with food and other lifestyle-oriented products and services, Spear's creative and strategic leadership accounts for the company's 40+ years of operation, numerous industry related awards and stellar reputation. As a global branding specialist, Spear wears many hats. In particular, he operates as creative director, marketing director, food writer, television presenter, educator, keynote speaker and cookbook author. He is fluent in industry dynamics, constantly staying abreast of emerging trends, buyer preferences, the competitive landscape, tools of the trade, and all of the important issues that impact and influence the way in which the world embraces food. In this capacity, Spear helps operators build and maintain powerful brands and brand experiences that are relevant, engaging and appealing. On a culinary note, Spear has culinary training from professional cooking schools in Australia and the United States and has produced three cookbooks "Yum: Tasty Recipes from Culinary Greats," "The First Coast Heritage Cookbook," and, most recently, "My Life in Gluttony: A Culinary Adventure."
