Amy graduated from the University of Illinois with a Master's in Recreation, Sport, and Tourism. She specializes in social media and has presented for the past several years at the FRPA Conference and this past year spoke at the Arizona Parks and Recreation Conference. Amy is currently a member of the Florida Recreation and Park Association Foundation Board of Trustees. In 2019, she was recognized by the Daytona Beach News-Journal as an outstanding young professional in their 40 under 40.
